Abstract
The aim of this study is to critique and make recommendations on Western Community Centre’s functions and effectiveness as a deliverer of social services. It is designed at better developing a better understanding of the dynamics and demands facing community based organizations. Of interest to note are the ranging expectations from both community workers and clients of the services provided by such community groups. It is hoped that the study of the Western Community Centre will provide innovative ways of better addressing effective delivery of functions and services to the benefit of both those who are committed to serving the community and the clients themselves.
