Sponsorship

 

Sponsorship provides an opportunity for the Trust and sponsored organisations to work together more closely on events and initiatives that raise the Trust's profile.


The Trust's current sponsorship agreements include:

 

Trust Waikato Netball Team
The Trust Waikato netballers, the flagship team of Netball Waikato. This sponsorship relationship began back in 2000.

 

Trust Waikato Surf Lifesaving Clubs 
Trust Waikato sponsors nine regional clubs, which provide surf rescue and lifesaving services to the boaties, fishers and beachgoers of the Waikato. Clubs currently sponsored include:

 

Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra
The Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra that performs several concerts each year. A highlight is the wonderfully popular Sunset Symphony, held around February/March at the Hamilton Gardens Festival annually. 

 

Trust Waikato Taumarunui Community Pool

The pool is an all year round valuable community facility, in constant use by the Taumarunui community. It provides opportunities for both fitness and fun throughout the year.

 

Waikato Museum - Ngaa Pou Whenua Exhibition

Ngaa Pou Whenua is a modern story of the four iwi of Tainui – Waikato, Pare Hauraki, Raukawa and Maniapoto.  From the mouth of the Waikato River, to the plains of Hauraki; the rolling hills of Raukawa and the valleys of Maniapoto.  Ngaa Pou Whenua is an exhibition of Tainui people and Tainui lands which runs from November 2010 for 3 years.  

  

Trust Waikato Te Awamutu Events Centre
The Te Awamutu Events Centre was opened in November 2001. The Centre includes an international standard gymnasium, an aquatic centre and an exercise area. Trust Waikato is pleased to be associated with this significant facility in Te Awamutu as a naming right sponsor.
