Peta Karalus
Peta was elected as the Trust's Chair in June 2010 and has been a Trustee since 2001. She is a registered nurse with a Masters Degree in Health Policy. Peta is the Chief Executive of K'aute Pasifika Services; the Pacific Island Health and Social Services Centre in Hamilton.
Peta holds a number of Trustee positions including the Waikato Health Advisory Committee and previously the Waikato District Health Board. She is Chair of the Waikato Community Reference Group for the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs.
Peta was born in Samoa and is the mother of nine 'beautiful' children.
