Maxine Viggers
Maxine was appointed as a trustee in June 2010. Maxine has a mixed working background, with experience in farming and the public service. A keen supporter of the rural sector, in particular small communities, she runs a farm with her husband Stephen in Piarere.
Her passion for people extends to her hobbie as a family history enthusiast. She is a member of the Matamata and New Zealand Society of Genealogists, and also belongs to family history societies in the UK and Ireland. Travel overseas usually includes an opportunity to carry out some further family history work.
For relaxation Maxine enjoys activities involving food, whether it be growing food, cooking or dining.
