Dianne Yates
Dianne was appointed to the Trust in June 2008.
After 15 years as a Member of Parliament, she is delighted to be back to grassroots community involvement again.
Dianne has an extensive history of voluntary and community sector involvement. She is currently Patron for Friends of the Waikato Museum of Art and History, Vice President of the UN Association (New Zealand) and a member of numerous community organisations including the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, NZ Women’s Studies Association, Waikato Ethnic Society, Hamilton Chamber Music and the Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust.
Since retiring from a hectic public life in early 2008, Dianne says she has been able to indulge in her love of music, art, swimming and attending adult education classes in Spanish and Computing.
