Clint Baddeley
A trustee since June 2004, Clint has a background as a maintenance tradesman and spent thirteen years as a senior advocate for the Engineers’ Union. In that time he negotiated Employment Agreements with some of New Zealand’s major companies. He was also actively involved in the promotion of apprentices within the Engineering trades.
Clint is chairperson of Strategy and Finance for the Waikato District Council and has worked closely with Tainui in the Guardians of the River Establishment Committee.
For the last twelve years he has been on the WINTEC council and is currently Chair of Building and Assets, responsible for overseeing a $58million building program. He is well known for his involvement in the Raglan community as the local District Councillor and also does a music show on Raglan Community Radio.
Clint and his wife Jackie live in Raglan. They have two adult children who have settled in Wellington and Australia, and three grandchildren.
