Trust Waikato Team Win

Focus, determination and great teamwork all contributed to the Trust Waikato Netball Team winning the Division 2 title in the Lion Foundation Netball Championship. This win also secured the team a promotion to the top division. Ben Sinnamon, Regional Manager of Netball Waikato says it’s a dream come true. “This is a strong step towards our goal of getting Netball Waikato back up to the top of Netball in New Zealand,” says Mr Sinnamon.
Trust Waikato is thrilled to have sponsored the region’s flagship netball team for the past 11 years. Chair Clint Baddeley says, “The Trust Waikato team is full of highly skilled players and gives young netballers something to aspire to. We congratulate the team on its outstanding success this season.”
Trust Waikato supports Netball Waikato Region with an annual donation towards netball development and operational costs, as well as sponsoring the Trust Waikato Team. This sponsorship illustrates the Trust’s support for the participation of children, youth and women in sport.
